A few more questions.

I'm full of questions, me:

1. Can anyone tell me, in simple terms because I'm a simple person, what the following scripts do: Lost n found, morphforms to transforms, powerloader developer?

2. On the surface tab what do "Bump" related things do? In other words, what is Bump?

3. In the Parameters tab what do subdivisio n level and Bone Edge Opacity do?

Thanks for any info!

OK, I'm not familiar with the scripts you mention in item 1, so hopefully someone else will be able to give you an answer for that.

As far as item 2, "Bump" settings on the Surface Tab are used to give a "flat" looking texture some depth/height. As an example, if you are texturing the walls of a castle with a stone texture, without a bump map the the stones will look very flat. IOW, they'll look 2D rather 3D. If you then add a bump map and play with the settings, you can make the stones look more realistic. Is there a magic formula of settings to use? I don't know, and would assume you have to play with them until you would get the stones looking the way you want.

As to item 3, subdivision is how you "smooth" out an object. If you were to create a sphere primitive, left the default settings and then rendered, you would be able to see all the points and edges that comprise the different polygons of the sphere. If you were to subdivide the sphere, that adds more points and edges so that there are more smaller polygons, and then when you render, the surface of the sphere will be smoother. Again it's trial and error as to how much subdivision is needed.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the Bone Edge Opacity either, so can't help you there.

I want to know about those scripts how to use, too.

then I can only answer about "bone edge opacity".

it is simple, Parameters>Display> turned "on" Show bones property.

then you slide value of Bone Edge opacity, or Bone Fill opacity, or Bone color, Bone edge style.

they are property how you can see the bones of figure on daz Sceane view.

(these property seems not concern when you render the figure,
I can not find the option about bone visiblity when I render figure )

I do not know how to render the bones only . ( if I can render bones , it seems interesting,,)
