Great colors, very nicely set up and framed, and some nice subtle shadows that really ground everything in the scene beautifully. Plus, her expression is just priceless! Great work!
Awww, they're so cute :) You managed to make robots look emotive, which is awesome. I love the toon style you went with and the lighting/shader combo looks great. I like that you added the shelves and toys but still made the scene look really clean (like a robot would keep it). Great links too - now I need that teddy bear...
Go ahead and count your chickens...I'm out. I'd trade all the chickens in the world and every prize in the joint for a day off and a good night's sleep! I've been putting in 60 hour weeks down at the old slave pen which affords me little time for the basic necessities of life, like sleeping, eating and rendering. I'm saving all my energy for next month. Y'all have fun...I gotta go to work...Great stuff so far though...

Yes, I never would have found toon robot if I was not looking everywhere for a baby-ish robot.
It is a great prop, it even comes with 8 or 10 poses: running, sitting, etc.
But no pose for holding oil bottles. :/

Having a kid that doesn't need a EVA suit makes life extra interesting! Next time he wants to play and hide and seek Mom is sending Dad out to find the kid!

They both look good, and there's no rule saying you can only enter once.
That said, I don't see how you can add more freebies to the second WIP and keep it looking that good... so I'd go with the first one first.
Does the first one fit the topic enough? I am not sure if it is too normal of a scene?

I think your second version is more on topic. This is about Motherly Madness. So more wacky your mom's vocation or odd clothing for the situation the better. On your first one your mom looks pretty normal and you are depicting madness through her kids doing acts to drive her crazy but the contest is about the other way. Well behaved kids that have to deal with a free spirit or a Mom who does not fit a traditional role.
