Question About Shadows

I wanted to know if there is a way in Bryce to block something from casting a shadow?

I am working on a scene and I have one object in front of the other. The front object I don't want to cast a shadow on the back object. Is this possible?

2 ways of doing it, you can either tell the object not to cast shadows, or you can tell the other one not to receive shadows.

both options can e fouynd using the little arrow next to the mat editor

@fictionalromance - chohol is right - of course! That's the way to go in most cases. There is an alternative, though.
Exclude an object to receive light. If it doesn't receive light, it won't cast shadows. You can include/exclude objects from any light source in the Light Lab: bottom right Influence. The same can be done for IB light in the Sky Lab, IBL Tab, bottom centre. But do not disable Sun/Moon Shadows in the Sky Lab Sun & Moon Tab because this is a global control.
