Hi everybody I wanted to have a place that I post my latest images and get your opinions about it all. I thought, instead of posting a new thread every time, I would just post to one thread all the time. Im not sure how well this will work out but here is where I will start. I would love to hear what your thoughts are and discuss technique/style of post work everyone does. Here is my latest. I will put a link to my gallery so you can see my older stuff too.
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy what you see,
Llamacorn

Hi, welcome to the forum. Nice action render. I love the shields and simple daggers. Thanks for posting your artwork.
I think your image is superb.
I wouldn't start a new thread for each image as it makes it difficult to see the progression of work, or to appreciate and enjoy your other images.
This image is great. It has a style which you appreciate isn't real but the style allows you to become more immersed in the content.
Thanks for the welcome Starionwolf! I love working with poser and 3d I hope to share a lot more in the future. I uploaded a bunch to my daz gallery too. I wasn't sure if I should post those in this thread or not.
Your right. i will post everything new here from now on. thank you for the kind word on this image. I know most of my stuff is loosely based on biblical heroes but I really enjoy the fantasy aspect of doing them with Poser.
GIDEON!
God knew that He could trust Gideon to do exactly what He said, so He told him to ask each soldier if they were scared. Those who said yes got to return home. Those who weren't scared stayed. Gideon's army quickly shrank from 32,000 soldiers to only 10,000. But God wasn't done yet.
Next, God told Gideon to bring his whole army down to the water for a drink. Gideon watched as each one quenched his thirst. Almost all of them got down on their knees and drank directly from the water, while just a few cupped the water into their hands to drink.
I hope you enjoy These! Thanks for Looking!

God had taken Gideon's army down from 32,000 soldiers to only 300! But God had a plan.
Gideon divided his 300 remaining men into three groups of 100. Instead of some new super weapon, Gideon gave each man a trumpet and a pitcher with a torch in it. How would they fight thousands of Midianites with trumpets, pitchers, and torches?
Finally, Gideon gave everyone their orders. They were to surround the enemies camp in the middle of the night and all at one time blow on their trumpets as loud as they could.
I like them all lot. They remind me of an illustrated Bible story book I had as a child. They have a similar look about them, even ignorning the content. Considering how big the book was it must have cost a goodly amount, I wonder where it is now?
Keep up the good work, it is a great project you have embarked on and I hope many get to enjoy and ponder your images.
Thanks for the thoughts and comments John. Im glad that you like them. I have been wanting to get into the whole cartoon looking style for awhile so my next set of pics will be a lot more kid cartoon. heres to the outcome, lol.

Hello Everyone that sees this! Hope your day is going well.
I was told a while ago that I need to be younger with my images. based off of this I really wanted to get into cartoon style but a more hand painted look. there are a few examples floating around here of some awesome artists that do this already and I love they're stuff.
Here I will be posting my WIP throughout the scene as I kept going.
First I will start with the concept. I am doing Lazarus when Jesus rose him from the grave. I did a quick concept painting to get a feel for the scene. (disclaimer: I have never painted before in my life.)
Concept Idea:
Then I rendered out a naked cartoon person from poser and did a concept of Lazarus:
these were just fast doodles to get the ideas of how to do it. I've never painted before so I wanted to get a feel of the lighting and what not...
after that I worked on the scene in poser and rendered out this...
I began to paint...and paint and paint. I used the render image as my background guide to help me with knowing where to paint highlights, shadows and mid tones. I rendered it all on separate PNG's so I could paint over each layer.
Here is the final work! I hope you enjoy it!
