Genesis & Carrara

Pretty sure that this has been answered before but, Does the Genesis figure and features work in Carrara or must I use Collada to run the figure in Carrara?

Also, if not, is DAZ working on a plug-in to run the Genesis Figure in Carrara?

    Carrara 8.5, which is currently in beta for C8 owners, adds Genesis support.
