Ordinary Flower Prop for Daz and OBJ Version

I made this non-species specific flower sort of as a Mother's Day freebie. It's is uploaded at Renderosity but I am waiting on approval. The Daz Version and Obj Version is in the same zip at Renerosity. It has been tested in Daz 4.6, Poser 10 and Bryce 7.1. I guess you can say Silo and Hexagon as well since I used those to create the flower.

For Daz download product and unzip then copy and paste the data, prop and runtime folder into your My Library Folder/Runtime.

You will find the prop in Daz Studio Format content tab - props - fictionalbookshelf - OrdinaryFlowers.

This set contains

1. Flower Prop named Medium Flower.
2. 6 Material Presets in a subfolder of the prop folder
3. 10 transparecies partial material presets to hide various parts of the flower. These will need to be reapplied if you change the texture of your flower.
4. 11 partial material presets for various parts of the flower
5. A UVMap has been included and can be found in the runtime-textures-fictionalbookshelf-OrdinaryFlowers folder

OBJ version folder has all the texture images, trans maps and bump maps as well as the UV Map but since I'm not good at setting up materials for Poser (YET) I left it as an obj. I did test the obj version in Daz 4.6, Poser 10, Bryce 7.1, Hexagon and Silo. It should work in many programs besides the ones I've tested it in.

At ShareCG I have the Obj and Daz Version uploaded separately.

Thank you. Downloaded and installed the OBJ version in Poser 9. I'm going to play with it in DS3A as well.

That's gorgeous, you did a fantastic job, need more realistic looking flowers. If you plan to make more, might I suggest the Calla Lily, one of my favorite flowers.

I might try but it will be a while. I'm not not up on flower species hence making that one a non-species specific flower. I'll look up info, pictures and so much more.

Scratch the last statement. I just looked up some pics. It looks like it will be easy.

    Thank you. They look good.

Haven't tried making flowers yet, they look complicated.

Thanks, I spent the day making pp2 files for them. Geeze, it was the first time I tried those, and there's lots of steps, but I finally figured it out. Just don't ask what time I went to sleep last nite (early this morning). ~LOL~

Thanks. I just happened to be playing about with the RoboWasp and then I saw your freebie. Serendipity, sometimes does happen. ;-)
