Nikolai Tattoo?

I have bought the Nikolai Character here on Daz

and so far he is my favourite male character. I am really interested in the tattoos that come with him. Can anyone tell me more about them? Because while I really like the artstyle, I neither know what it does say or mean.

It looks a bit heretic, maybe it is a popular symbol, maybe something custom made. It says they're made in Blacksmith and CS5, but I don't know if that is something entirely made up by the artist or drawn from an existing tattoo. Do you know it?

I would also like to know if there are similar tattoo characters (or overlays) with that artstyle!

    It kind of looks like it’s supposed to say “video game”, but the O and E in “video” were swapped.

    Howdy there!  

    I'm very glad you like Nikolai, Darktoz, as well as the work put into the type of tattoos that were included into his pack.  The lettering actually spells out "Hope is Gone" along his back (as part of his backstory- as he is part of a storyline between my partner and myself) on this one.  The symbol is custom designed within Blacksmith 3D and CS5, but inspired by tattoos I've seen on a few people on the street/tattoo parlors and ink mags.

    Nikolai's tats in this style is the first character using this particular style of inkwork; however, I do plan to expand that style and learn more on how to make them correctly for future products.

    I love his other tattoo options as well, so I am looking forward for more characters like this in the future.
