Naples, Florida area... I need tech assistance with 4.6

Hello
I am not new to DAZ. I have been using it for about eight years. I must have more than 1500 items. During that time I have published three graphic novels, each containing more than 200 images. And yet I cannot grasp 4.6.
I have posted on here before looking for assistance. Several people offered suggestions. None worked. I have taken the tutorials. I have called the DAZ help desk where several people patiently spent hours with me on the phone, and still nothing.
I am not sure if the problem is with my computer, or with me, or with the downloaded program. I tried uninstalling, deleting the download, re-downloading, and re-installing.
The problem is that I cannot access my products. The 4.6 program finds and displays my directories, but not the products inside the directories. And the few products it does display, they do not work properly.
I desperately want to keep up with the new technology and with the artistic improvements.
I am looking for someone in the southwest Florida area who is willing to come to my home and get me on track. If interested, please respond to this request to see if we can agree on a fee.

    It is probably a simple matter to fix, and can be done through the forums here.

    Can you post a screenshot of your Content Directory Manager, this controls what DS can see in the Content Library. Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager. Do you have your content library list as BOTH DAZ Studio and Poser Formats?

    I take it that you are using the Content Library and not Smart Content? If you are referring to Smart Content, it is controlled by the CMS (Content Management Service), and it has to be running for Smart Content to work properly.

    I realise that you are looking for someone to work with you at home, but this kind of thing can happen very easily for various reasons, and is usually fixable via the forums.

    I agree Jimmy. We here have helped very many users get up and running from just posts and some shared Screen shots. For Screen shots on a Win7 OS you just need the Snip Tool in Accessories and to use the Choose File button under all FULL post and Reply Screens.
    Here is a Snip of the two Default Content folders for DAZ Studio Mapped to be used fully by DAZ Studio for example...

    Thank you for your willingness I will keep trying with you, but to be honest I have tried many times in the past without success.

    So does any products LIST if you select the DAZ Studio 4 folder? if not please show me this...
    I only need the Last one the Directory image the rest is your how to get there...

    First of all, you should have that same directory listed under Poser Formats.

    Can you give the full path to an item you have (e.g. Genesis.duf or Victoria 4.2.cr2)? How did you install them?

    First remove/delete everything under Other Import Formats (they are for formats OTHER THAN Studio and Poser) and all those extra New Content Sets.

    Here is my Custom DAZ Studio install...
    As Shown all my DAZ 4.5+ content gets installed to that ONE folder. The One folder is Mapped as Both a DAZ Studio content folder path and a Poser Format content folder path. I have installed well over 2400 product sets to that one folder (Bundles and single sets) using the DIM.
    I have access to all my content properly. Some shows as Smart Content in the Smart Content Tab and all others are found in the Content Library Tab which uses both the DAZ Studio formats Path and the Poser formats path for the content that is not yet smart. Only content that has a Metadata file will work as Smart content all other will work just as it did in DAZ Studio 3.
    I did Have to do a Re-Import of Metadata when I upgraded to DAZ Studio 4.6.3.50 as the new PosterSQL database needed built before it knew I had any content. Other than that this works 100% for me and I have not had one issue.

    Here is my DIM (DAZ Install Manager) set to install all content to my ONE content folder and only to it.
