Actually I prefer Ika (calamari) to Tako (octopus) but anyways, now that I have lured you into my non-food-based render thread, let's start off with a render I did the other day.
Meet the elite Amy going for a nice skydive without a chute to take the tension out of a long workweek. Bon appétit!
Rendered in LuxRender 1.3.1 using Reality 2.5 for DAZ Studio 4.6.
Lit using Callad's Reality Light System
and an image-based light from HDR Labs at hdrlabs.com/sibl/

Great use of DOF there. I see a future stunt here? Land on the flying thing right?
Really solid job there. Love it. Great expression, good hair movement, DOF, pretty girl. What's not to like?
Landing with those heels is going to HURT. Either for the girl or the heels ;)
Nice work, though :)
Totally agree regarding the DOF, it adds so much to it!
The expression says it all- go get 'em gal! I like the brown color scheme- using it in the background and the clothing really ties it together. Thanks so much for sharing. :)
@Jader, yeah, something like that. I showed it to my grandma and she said it looked like a ferris wheel flying through the air. :-)
@John, Thanks so much! The image-based lighting used really added some depth here I think.
@mori: Yes, I wish less DAZ shoes had heels on them. Personally I don't find high heels sexy, but what can you do. :P
@Novica: Glad you like it! The background is part of the image-based lighting which is why it all blends so well. Great stuff, sIBL.:D
Stella with a little Domina mixed in. ;)
Hair is Radiant Jaguar.

Great render to kick off with! I also love the use of DOF, and the natural colours are striking, She's most definitely a daredevil! And nice doll render too, I think If I happen to cross it in a subway stroll... I might be slightly crept! LOL Nice work :)
Reminds me of Un Lun Dun, or Neverwhere... :)
Thank you Spyro and Tobias! I'm glad you like!
Un Lun Dun and Neverwhere look like cool books!
Almost makes me want to take up writing again.
I have a short story sitting in my computer that never did get published.
Picky publishers....
