These are mutations of my last experiments. This time I used the oil paint effect in Photoshop. I liked how it turned out compared to the original renders.

    What do you think?

This is another experiment with Carrara 8.5 Pro using Carrara Vista In The Clouds. This time using Stonemason's Urban Sprawl and some octopus models. I created the rubble by using the explode modifier on a few buildings.

joeping- I love the vibrant colors and the action in the renders. Interesting effect with the explode modifier. (And I love the cool blue tone.)

I think my favorite is the octopus tentacles, with the light in the back shining towards us, which makes the viewer want to shield their eyes and get a better look so they can skidattle! Nice job- thanks for sharing all these.

    Thanks Novica,
I learned a lot from these experiments with Carrara Vista In The Clouds. Mainly how to take a product from DAZ pros and see how they do things. I learned how to use fog and volumetric clouds better by experiments based off the product. It also led me down creative avenues I wouldn't have considered before.

Now I need to make some more money to try some of the other great DAZ content creator's products to learn better methods and to spur creativity.
