Steady Rotation Around an object?

I'm trying to fly a camera around a building in a nice steady arc. Is there a way to do this aside from by hand/guessing. My first attempt was sort of wobbly. I can't keep the camera a consistent radius from the center of the building.

Devised a simple solution: create a null, center it on the building. Rotate it the desired degrees and then parent the camera to it.
