Daz 4.6 Content LibraryProducts

So many items show up but when I try to open nothing happens.

Example...http://www.daz3d.com/pentonville-cell

Pentonville poses shows up but icons have no background..

Why are they listed if unable to open and use?

BTW shows up Daz 3 np

    Can you find them in the Content Library pane in DS 4 as you can in the Content as you can in DS3? I suspect it's simply that you don't have the content directory path set, or set correctly, in DS4.

    The Yellow Triangle just under the New overlay Icon tells me that your content Paths are not set up properly. DAZ Studio is not reading the files properly. Also the Poses need a Figure in the Viewport to be used on, a pose is not a Scene set up ready to be used. It is a Pose to be used by a figure in a set. Those will pose the figure as shown in DS3 above in that Set when used on a figure with that set also loaded. They do not load the set and the figure for you that you must do yourself.

    Ok...Will work on files further...Where did that little Gremlin come
    from that is messing up my files? Can't be me...

    How in the world do I clean up my Daz? My investigation shows example:
    H (partition drive) .DazConent content/Content

    Grr...I purchased older Daz items and tried to install to Daz/content..Well now
    have a a few content drives..Some content...some Content...

    Please don't say delete all and start from scratch...I use partitioned drives
    to save disc space on main drive....

    Well for one thing you can not have a path like
    DazContent content/Content
    That is a Nested content path.. the Path should be
    DazContent content/
    No Content folder in the Content named folder, Even that causes nesting.
    You could have DazContent/Content but not the other.
    I think the same Name is fine as long as the Drive and or Path is Different but not sure. I've always used diff names for each folder.

    Do you mean you have a series of folders named Content, one inside the other?

    Yes..various content folders along with various :vampire: runtimes. Been trying to sort it out..

    WHAT A MESS!

    Not taking 100% blame...Notice it's some of the vendors, especially the freebies that don't have
    correct installation....

    Cleared up so much...Cutting, pasting to correct folder etc etc....
