This is an experiment with Carrara 8.5 Pro using "A Bright Loft" from Bluebird 3D [ http://www.daz3d.com/a-bright-loft ]. I used the Fire Primitive to create ground mist. I also added some spot light with light cones and the tentacles are from an octopus model.
Thanks for looking.

I never noticed the pipes in the bright loft before. Cool. The last render with the cats is cute. I like the wood textures. The lighting is nice.
Thanks
The pipes are part of a vent she is blocking. =)
The LUX materials for the skin plus the lighting- very nice results. And of course, the cats are adorable. :)
Thanks I tried a single LUX infinite light and really liked how it brought out the default textures in loft.

This is another experiment with Carrara 8.5 Pro using "Neglected for A Bright Loft" from Bluebird 3D and LUXUS for Carrara to render. This time I played with the Luxus for Carrara Resource Pack to create a dust cloud.

I really like that she is wearing gray and you went for contrast to set her apart, but the entire scene kept a soft feel for it. Looks like you are really enjoying Carrara :)
