Newbie needs help

Hello Guys and Girls

I´m new at DAZ. And now I need help.
Schocking :)

I download DAZ 4.6 and installed it. All works fine. The Base Figures at the Left side worked. So i think I can go too the next Step.
I buy Victoria 4 and the Elite Bundle and I buy the Chainmail Items at RuntimeDNA

http://www.runtimedna.com/Chainmail-Top-for-V4.html

I unpack this and copy the Runtime-Folder to My DAZ 3D Library in Documents.
I think it must be right.

Now when I load Victoria 4 and then choose the Chainmail-Top in the Content Library Window a short Window pops up:
Imported: 01 Top.mc6 but nothing happens at my model.

I have no Idea why? Anyone can help?

Sorry for my simple English
Greetings from Germany
Sunny

DAZ Studio should apply the Poser MC6 material as far as I know.

If this is a file for applying a 'shader', you may not see anything in the viewport window, you would need to render it to see the shader.

The promo says it is DAZ Studio compatible, are you sure that you are applying DAZ Studio materials and not Poser ones? Poser Shaders will not work inside DAZ Studio.

Are you sure you are trying to load the actual clothing figure, not the material file.?

I think you are right Pam, I just assumed it was a MC6 problem. :)

    @neubert_sauter

an MC6 file is just a material for the actual chainmail, you need to load the chainmail first. It will be in Poser Formats > Figures, and is probably a CR2 Poser file. You could check in the ZIP file to see what was actually supplied?

CR2 rather than PP2 I would think Poser formats figures.
