Very welcome :)
Another old freebie......
https://www.renderhub.com/laticis/li-skull-cave-of-madness
Thank you, I thought I already had this from when you first released it, but turns out I didn't.
You're very welcome :)
It's hard releasing the old stuff LOL
My personal old favorites of yours were the Scifi Wall, and I think the other was a blood splattered wall...? They were really useful.
I lost them (among lots of other pieces of content - especially my own) when my local PC repair store deleted everything from my D drive on my rendering PC.
The pain is real when it comes to loosing content, runtimes, preferences.
It's never just as easy for us when it comes to new systems either.
Worst of all, especially...when it was someone else's mistake.
I'll go looking for them and repost at RenderHub
While I already have it, I hope you will re-release your "Gorn Rock" for others to enjoy.
When your page at DA vanished and fans wanted that iconic rock formation, I would point them to a photogrammetry scan of the real life geographical location, the Vasquez Rocks, hosted at SketchFab. It was free at first, but eventually the uploader slapped a price upon it.
If you lost your original data, I still have the zip file as it was losted when I got it from Deviant Art.
Sounds interesting Redfern, I use to have a lot of Laticis stuff, but over the years with degrading disks and changing to numerous computers, I've lost most of it.
Here's how I once used the prop, in a character swap version of "Arena", the 1967 episode that introduced the Gorn. The Vasquez Rock formation featured prominently in the episode.
My how the Gorn have changed...
yes , they have + The orginal was Bettr Thanx +
@N-RArts - I found the Sci-Fi wall, but its going to need a little work before uploading. ( My UV Mapping on it is atrocious )
@Redfern - ha, the good old Gorn Rock.......I'll upload it today.
Hi :)
The updated Sci-Fi Wall Tiles Freebie
https://www.renderhub.com/laticis/li-sci-fi-wall-tiles
and an update Gorn Like Rock https://www.renderhub.com/laticis/li-gorn-like-rock
When I read the description you had updated the prop, I decided to download it again. I was VERY pleasantly surprised you "zipped" both the new AND the original!
Tank you very much!
You are very welcome :)
So happy to see the gorn-like rock returned. Used the original and another of your rock formations in a render years ago, but lost all those files while cleaning out my external HD. Thank you for the reupload.
External hard drives....lost a couple of those...it's never a pretty thing. ( I even had to pay for recovery of files )
I'm gradually be putting some of those older freebies back out..the ones that aren't too terrible made ;)
An old freebie with a new update now available at RenderHub:
https://www.renderhub.com/laticis/li-gorgonmask-2024-for-genesis-8-females
Interesting, can think of lots to do with that, thank you.
No probs at all...the additional morphs should help too :)
Thanks very much. Both the new one and the old one will be very useful.
Unfortunatly loading the old mask reports missing textures (I think they might be there, but the paths are wrong, so I can probably sort it out.)
Very welcome :)
Oh dear, I was so focussed on the new one I didn't pay any attention to the old and just threw it in.
I'll have a look when I get a moment, thank you for letting me know.
Wait, both the old and new one are in the zip, I thought it was only the new one lol , well this is nice and also very useful.
Hahahaha :)
I couldn't help myself either.....I had to fix the old one... ( the paths in the Iray Preset where crap ) - All done I hope...uploading soon.
New freebie now available at RenderHub

Your freebies all look amazing! I do have a question, though - Why do you list them as Extended Use License (IP Restricted)? If they are ports or fanart or something, that's cool, I totally understand, I love fanart! But I don't download anything that has that license unless it's obvious fan art of something that I recognise, because I have a tip jar and may sell my art (not fan art) in the future. I've noticed that lots of creators on Renderhub use that license, even when I can't see any reason for it, so I wondered if maybe there was something that has to be unchecked during the upload process or something. I'm so sorry if this is not an appropriate question, I just would really love to use your freebies if possible!
Got it and thanks
Hi Fae3D,
Thank you. I don't think this is an in-appropriate in fact it's a good question. I just need to make sure there aren't any crossed wires.
When we upload freebies/content to RenderHub there are two 'Use License' options available.
1.0 Extended Use License ( this means you can use them for commercial use - with some cavearts, of course.)
2.0 Personal Use License Only
I add my own License as a read me because I wouldn't want anyone, taking my product/freebie and trying to sell it on it own or as part of another product.
I have a feeling you may have misinterpreted 'Extended Use License' - and I think the one that actually locks things down is 'Editorial Use Only'
You can review the licensing details here: https://www.renderhub.com/info/3d-content-licensing
If you are seeing anything other than: 'Extended Use License' - let me know ( I am very happy for my freebies to be used for commercial projects / renders etc. )
:)
