'The "MIchael 4" support folder could not be found.'

I am using an outfit designed for Michael 4 on Genesis in DAZ Studio. Most of the outfit works, but the conversion process ruins the boots by conforming the boots too closely to Genesis's feet, distorting the heels badly and giving the boots toes.

I decided to get around this problem by bringing a copy of M4 into DS, fitting the boots to M4 while making M4 invisible, then matching the Genesis and M4 poses together so it would appear to be one single figure without distorted boots.

However ...

When I attempt to bring M4 into DAZ Studio I get the critical error 'The "MIchael 4" support folder could not be found.'.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Michael 4 base using Download Manager, but the problem persists.

Any suggestions on how to get Michael 4 working?

(Otherwise, is there any way of getting the M4 boots on to Genesis without them being autoconverted and given toes?)

With DS (and Poser if you use it) closed, go to the library you installed M4 to and go to Runtime > libraries > !DAZ. Try manually running the DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat file. You'll get what looks like a command prompt appear and disappear. After it runs, try reloading M4 in DS.

DIM should've activated them for you, but just in case.

I am afraid I am still getting the same error.
