Changing where your renders are saved

I want to render a image series but I do not see a way to change where they will be stored. I see under general settings in the render settings pane where it gives my render library
but I do not see how to change it. I have a folder on my D drive where I want the renders to go. When I click on the "path" in the little box, there is no way to change it.
Using iray to render, I was told that it was faster to render as a image series instead of a .avi but it seems to be slower or it seemed to me.

There should be a little box next the the folder path wit "..." In it which is essentially "browse" to select the folder you want to output to. As for image series Vs Avi output, I can't comment on speed as I ditched Avi output LONG ago. The level of control you have with image series is much more beneficial (imho) If Daz or the computer crashes during an avi render, you're starting from scratch, image series you can just start from the latest image you need. Also, with image series if you find something you want to tweak in frames 20 to 65 for example, you'd only have to re-render the tweaked frames rather than the whole animation with avi.
