[Is it possible that my Genesis 8 figures aren't being transferred through the bridge because] my library for Genesis 8 morphs is so huge, I end up with a massive multi-gig FBX file?

The bridge has to export as much of the Data as possible which will technically emulate the Look of DAZ JCM's and HD morphs, in the other program, as they are accompanied by several gigs of Morph data that used to reside unobtrusively in your local Data folder.
There are threads that show how to strip out most of that data after import.
Please don't just run the title into the body of the post like that.
Absolutely not. Until 1) someone addresses my issue directly OR 2) My technical tickets get a timely response (I put in a ticket two weeks ago, and it has still not received ANY response or acknowledgment, one way or another) OR 3) someone from DAZ issues an easy-to-find statement that says "We are aware of some bugs in the system which we are trying to address, please bear with us" then this will keep happening.
I just want to know that SOMEONE with the technical know-how is working to address any bugs in the software and that we can either 1) expect an update/patch in the coming weeks or 2) be aware that someone IS working on it. That's all! So far, my issue hasn't been addressed and I just want to know how to fix this!
It can take a while to get a response to technical Support tickets, especially on an issue like this that isn't just a matter of checking one piece of content.
Is the figure simply failing to import, or is it importing badly? Do you get an error message?
So... it's not just ONE figure... its the ENTIRE Genesis 8 library... male AND female characters. And no... I'm not getting any error messages. I'm not getting ANYTHING. I spend about 25 minutes waiting for the respective figure to go through the bridge while every single morph loads into it, then I open the corresponding 3D program (in this case, C4D), open the bridge, hit auto-import.... and nothing happens. It's like NOTHING was loaded into it. Just... nothing. No error message, no C4D crash... nothing.
And yes... it CAN take a while for technical support tickets... which is why you should at LEAST say "Thank you for your inquiry, we are working on it as fast as we can"... not completely ignore it.
This tutorial ONLY applies once you get the Genesis 8 figure to import successfully into C4D. My issue is GETTING it into C4D. Once that happens, THEN I can follow this tutorial. However, this is not the issue. As stated, the issue is GETTING Genesis 8 figure to import AT ALL.
Did you not get an auto-acknowledgement?
Then, if you didn't click the Sign In link at top-right of the ZenDesk page with the contact form, you may have mis-entered your email or soemthign may simply have gone wrong with the ticket.
OK, so you did get the auto-acknowledgement - the email with the link and thank you for contacting was all I meant.
That is probably going to be very hard to determine - especially in the absence of error messages.
Where is the intremediate FBX located? I can export a plain G8F see what size file I get?
If the link works the ticket was presumably opened, so I would guess you didn't click the sign in button, had to enter the email manually, and there's a typo somewhere. That shouldn't stop you from getting responses. Have you checked the log in Daz Studio (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File) just after running the export side of the bridge?
I was having issues with this via the bridge. Initially it was just skin not coming through, then it worked, then it stopped again. I just updated to the latest nVidia drivers which may have helped.
1: Check FBX export settings (I think this gives the bridge the settings even though the bridge doesn't have any options, 2012 Binary seems to work) - This worked for me the first time I had issues
2: Check your C4D Import FBX settings have all the correct ones toggled on, especialy geometry. - This was what I think had changed and made it work again (I was importing FBX mocap without geometry since last using the bridge & that must have affected how C4D was viewing the character).
