Has anyone else done much in the line of Godzilla, Pacific Rim type images?
I'm going to be adding a few details still but was looking for ideas!

Maybe experiment with dStroy dForce? I admit that watching the sim was more fun than the actual render;)
...some more early dForce experiments:
There is certainly alot going on in the shot. And that's one despicably ugly monster tearing up the city. The couple hugging on the roof is a story all on its own. If you are looking for ideas, Some cops at the crusiers with gun drawn shooting upward would be a possible addition. I generally rather have the protagonist's more active, so the girl sitting crying in the foreground could instead be crouched and moving away from the mayhem, but it's your story, and there maybe a good reason for her to be that passive. The haze helps with the scale of the scene, but obscures the sky, you may consider to try a different more intense skymap to allow some clouds and sky details to cut through the haze.
thats a good start, and some good ideas being tossed your way..
I did this one a few years ago..
If you want destroyed buildings, you'll want to spend a little time with a proper 3D modeling program, like Blender. You don't have to be a very advanced user to do things like this:
That was a simple cube with a brick texture, a Voronoi fracture, a rigid body modifier and an effector to choose which parts get destroyed.
Within DS, you can also use this: https://www.daz3d.com/live-architectures-bundle. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but it's pretty powerful.
found another I did a few years back..(2014)
Got a little more don and dropped a pretty penny on some Stonemason goodness lol
Cool stuff indeed:)
I'm working on the RoninRobot being piloted by two girls. One manning control panel and another on a sensor pad wielding the samuari sword. And the robot will mimic her actions. It's been a Pacific Rim kinda day lol
Sweet, sweet destruction you have here!
