Content libary snafu

The first pane in the content library which lists; DAZ Studio formats, Poser Formats, other formats, then Products and categories, my products and categories are missing from that first pane. Also, is there a link that describes the functions in the content database maintenance window?

    If Products and Categories aren't shoeing then either PostgreSQL isn't running, or it's being blocked from communicating with DS. Does Task Manager show about 7 instances of postgres.exe?

    As an aside, you shouldn't have that Content folder in the third column - the files and folders in that should be in the My DAZ 3D Library folder or geometry and textures will not be found.

    If you click on the ? icon at the bottom of the window, then click on the item you wish to know more about.

    You can also see these options if you have Tool Tips switched on.

    Task manager doesn't show the Postgre SQL running at all. I guess that's the problem

    And as Richard points out the Content Folder inside the My Library folder is a Nested Content folder. That alone will cause database errors as the paths do not read properly in DAZ Studio if at all. It needs all its folders Merged with your Main My Library folder and that Content folder removed.
