After the success of Ethnics for Genesis 2 Female, we are proud to finally announce you (very soon in the store), the male version : Ethnics for Genesis 2 Male.

Like its female counterpart, it's a set of 15 head morphs representing variety in ethnicity; and each morph has a special name for better recognition.

You do not need any special morph pack to use them as they are custom hand made morphs. Like the female version, you don't need special texture set either : easiest way is to tweak some values in the texture parameters, like diffuse.

The promo images have been made with caucasian texture sets, tweaked in DAZ Studio. Some promo have even been made with no texture set at all in diffuse channel!

If you already own non caucasian texture set or character sets, those head morphs will help you achieving a realistic look for your characters.

The head morphs can also be mixed together or with other custom morphs you may already have and like.
For more subtle results in mixed combination, i always advice to keep all the morphs together below 100% to avoid a "caricature effect" :

Your morph : 45
Ethnic morph 1 : 25
Ethnic morph 2 : 30

This is just an example of course... :)

The price should be the same as the female version.
No bundle has been created but we're in talk with DAZ so the owners of the female version can have a special discount... I'll post about it when i know more.

The Set should be released quite soon (as i don't have a date yet)
Feel free to ask any question
Thank you
C.

Oh sweet cheesus. The front guy in the top promo looks like Ricky Whittle. He plays Lincoln, the hot ass grounder, in The 100.

The rear guy in the 3rd promo looks familiar, too, but I can't place it. It's on the tip of my brain. >.<</p>

I just may have to check out that bundle when it hits. ;)

Awesome! I really like your Ethnics for G2F. I've never used a full face morph but I'll use a little of about 2-3 whenever I need a quick face. :p

    Thanks

That's what i usually do with my packs too : the smiles, i almost never use a full 100%, adding just a bit of this and a little bit of that ads subtlety and uniqueness to a face, and for Ethnics, it works the same way :)

    Hello everyone

So i checked with the DAZ teamn, and yes, previous owners of the female version WILL have an extra discount on this one.

Also, guess who's coming this weekend...? ^^
Just for show, this is a mix of several ethnics morphs (with a glass prop( Thanks to Slosh free SPEX) and a beard prop).

    So true...
Meanwhile, there's already some fun textures around there, especially when g2 can take a LOT of UVs like Genesis, gen 4 figures etc...

And a nice discount it is. Bought a number of pirate items, as pirates were a generally diverse group. (And yes, there really were women pirates, although most were disguised as men). Thank you very much.

This is an odd question, I own the female version, haven't bought the male one yet, is there a list of what ethnic they are in the readme?

    Hi

There is not really a classification of ethnicity as i don't really think it can be done.
I didn't do it for the female version and this time, it is the same.

Furthermore i don't want some people to feel offended as ethnicity can be a delicate subject and also didn't want some fights like : "This one is this ethnicity. No he's not, look at his lips, he can't be! But no, he's from there look at his eyes ! no he can't, you're wrong!" ;)

The most i could do is give indications for your imagination by naming them.
My goal was for you to look at the faces available and try to see what you can use for you needs.

Some are more obvious than others but still, Kim for exemple, looks definitely asian maybe japan or Korea but could have been born and raised in California or in Germany. If you mix him a bit with John or with Julian, you could have someone coming from indonesia or even australia. It will really depend on the way you use them, and what texture you put on them, and the colour of diffuse you use.

So, to answer your question : No, sorry there is no list of what ethnic they are in the readme file.

Here are some thumbnails of all the faces morphs.
You can click for bigger view

    I hope it helps...?
    Thanks

Thank you I understand now the reason for that, i actually did try googling the names to get an idea after I posted, lol. Thank you for the additional discount for previous owners, and it's nice it was one of the products that give a percentage off Lee. The images all look great, I actually wasn't even expecting all of that, so a big thank you for that. ;)

That makes sense. I can see a lot of possibilities for these morphs. And thanks for the discount. It's greatly appreciated.

P.S. Is it just me, or does the Piotr morph remind anyone else of Conan O'Brien?

Here's a render I did trying them out. :) This character uses a combination of the Tyron, Julian, and Zlatan ethnic morphs, with a little hint of Zev0's aging details for a bit of wrinkling. The skin is Ryze. The morphs are quite versatile and varied, very happy with them!

This was a test render I did after I downloaded this product, just for fun. Ignore the poke through on clothing and the shoddy DOF. :p

Awesome face morphs, Cake! He's a blend of 2-3 - so subtle yet so effective! Please make more!! :D

Edit: Used Jepe's Sang 2.0 for the skin texture, with AoA's Subsurface shader (Gianni's settings)
