I'm using the stock walk cycle in Animate2 and there is a bit of a glitch. A the start of each forward cycle, the left foot slips backward. Anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?

Just bumping this? Any help out there? The figure's planted foot slips backward on the first frame of every cycle. I've tried moving the Z axis manually for that frame in the Keymate window, but it doesn't help. And it happens whether I stack separate forward cycles one against the other, or just have one that is extended in length. And it happens whether I'm in packed or sparse layout. Grrrr.

What figure are you using and what aniBlock? Do you have the latest version of aniMate 2 and DS? I have no issue using V4 and "forward (1 cycle)" aniBlock.

    Full version AniMate 2, DS 4.6.3.52 64bit, win 8.1 64.

Using Dad 4.6.3.50 on a mac. Applying that forward (1 cycle) to a Genesis 2 figure. I think it's Michael 4. I'm rendering something now and because there's no background rendering, I can't go in and confirm the precise figure.

The original aniBlocks were made for M4/V4 figures. There is probably a bone mismatch issue. You could try burning the aniBlock to DS keyframes, make the necessary adjustment on the DS timeline and the burn it back as a G2M aniBlock. You could also create your own M4 to G2M utility aniBlock using a separate timeline. Save the a M4 to G2M aniBlock then use it when using legacy aniBlocks with G2M. I sometimes use the V3-V4 aniBlock on Genesis with ok results.

Thanks. I'll give those things a shot.

Not sure what software you're using, but this might assist in either program -
