Bought Animate 2 yesterday, encountering problems

Hello. As the title says I just bought animate 2 yesterday and have watched the videos from the GoFigure website.I am still having a few problems with the add on though.

Starting from the initial T pose (Victoria 6) I added the walk animation and when the figure walks the feet are pointing up as though the heel offset was added, but reversed. Also the hands form a weird pose that cannot be fixed once it occurs. I started in the standard T pose because the first time i had my characters set I had them in the poses i wanted them to start in. I moved the walk animation onto the bar and my characters arms went completely wonky and there was no way i could fix that.

The feet thing is happening on the Genesis 2 model as well. I never tested the hand thing because I have been going crazy with the other model. The hands picture is what the hands look like with all the pose controls set to zero.

Am I just doing something wrong or is there a setting I should be using?

I think they're designed for V4/M4. Not sure if that matters or not, but that could be part of the issue.

BC Rice is correct, most of the Aniblocks that you wull see are designed for V4/M4, and they do not work 'perfectly' with Genesis or Genesis 2.

This link http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/15802/#231972 will take you to a thread where there is a foot fix for Genesis, and othr information.

Ah ok. Does that mean just the existing aniblocks or will animation blocks I make also be non compatible?

No, any blocks that you create for a particular figure will be OK.

The original Aniblocks were made using V4/M4, so they need to be slightly altered. There are Aniblocks created for Genesis and Genesis 2, but you need to read the Product Page to see what figures the blocks were created for. For example:
