Spinning Pendant

An Aqua Aura pendant I put together for my wife, she has a real one. I had to make the Aqua Aura texture for it myself as there were no textures that I could find for Aqua Aura which is gold bonded to quartz crystal.

    Very nice. My wife also creates jewelry type items, in her case from polymer clay. The textures can be pretty impressive:

    That's very pretty, FishTales. Nice work having the facets really look faceted, I know that can be tough to achieve.

    @Steve K Thank you. Your wife does some very good work.

    @SickleYield. Thank you. That was the first time I have ever done anything like that. I made everything from scratch. The crystal is two cubes and four pyramids, two on each end, with one turned 90º to the other and then combined into one object. Other than the Aqua Aura texture the rest is DAZ defaults.

    The funny thing is, I watch her work for hours with clay in pasta machines, and a bunch of other tools I can't even name, and I laugh at all that work. Then I go spend hours trying to get a virtual texture just right. :coolmad:
