Genesis and Genesis 2 do not load

When I attempt to load Genesis or Genesis 2 characters and associated items like hair and clothing I get an error msg that states "Carrara was unable to import Genesis.cr2". I tried uninstalling Genesis Starter Pack then after ensuring I had the latest install file I reinstalled Genesis Starter Pack. Obviously, this didn't help. I checked through the forums and have found threads where people had problems loading Genesis characters correctly but I didn't find any where they couldn't load the character at all. Any help would be appreciated.
I have Carrara 8.5 Pro Build 243 64 bit installed on my machine. I am using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on a machine with two Intel Xeon dual core processors running at 2.33GHz and with 32GB of RAM. I also have a nVidia Quaddro 4000 graphics card.

if I was to guess are you trying to load from the My Daz 3D Library Runtime?
If so... that doesn't work for me either
You need to go to the My Daz 3D Library ---> people ---> and load from there..
It's a real PITA
That seems to have been the problem. Should the runtime folder not be loaded?
Also if you are using an external hard-drive make sure that the "My Daz 3D Library" that Carrara knows about is on the same hard-drive as as any other content that comes in under another 'My Daz 3D' runtime...
I had this problem until I noticed I had 3 'My Daz 3D' runtimes, and one of them was on my computer's main drive, the other 2 were the ones I used, on an external drive. The one on my main drive was out-dated so only had some files... But Carrara always tried to look for things there first, and then errored out when it could not find them.
