When an .hr2 file invokes a .pmd file to load its morphs, older versions of Daz Studio are left out in the cold. (I think 4.5 handles these directly, but I haven't tried that yet.) And the InjectPMD script doesn't process .hr2 files. But the MorphExchange app does, building a new copy of the .hr2 file with the morph deltas inline. (Old copy saved as a .bak file.) Very useful for Mylochka freebie hairs.

It's related to morphs-- although it's about getting to use morphs that are already present but inaccessible, instead of being about adding new morphs to an existing hair prop/character.
Categorization can be annoyingly recalcitrant, but sometimes you gotta just shrug, and get out the bigger hammer... :-)
