Pause/Play Timeline (set to spacebar) does not work

I've had the Animation -> Play/Pause set to spacebar and it has worked before upgrading to 4.14. It seems if I am in the main window, the keyboard shortcut does not work. If I focus a window pane outside of the main DAZ window, it does work. It is very odd and I cannot figure out why. Is this a new behavior? I went back to 4.12 and the play/pause keyboard shortcut works as expected in the main window.

  • Yep, same here. Very strange behaviour.
Starting works, but it's not stopping. Except when it sometimes does.
Changing the shortcut does not help either.

Since I'm doing animations most of the time this really drives me nuts.

Same problem here. It will only stop if clicked on a window outside of the main one on that shortcut. Has anyone found a solution/workaround? I just updated to version 4.15.0.2 and it's driving me nuts.

It´s been awhile and the bug still exist. How can we alert of this to a Daz personal?

DS Version ?  There's no such an issue in the latest DS version ~

It still exists in 4.22. The only way to workaround this is to undock the Timeline pane, then the spacebar for play/pause works.

I have had the same issue. I use 4.12 for animation for this reason and also because clicking on a key in the timeline does not lag like it does in the latest versions after 4.12. I do wish these issues would be fixed.
