Learning to make Facial Controls
I settled on working with Cinema 4D because to me it's the easiest one to learn. I am working on learning Xpresso right now. I've found a workflow that works for me in that I used Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 for Maya to Get an export of my figure with all of the JCMs needed. Actually what I do is manually save the fbx as DazToC4D.fbx in the C:\TEMP3D Folder. It imports to Cinema 4D with no problems and all of the morphs are there, but the only thing that was missing was a face rig, so I'm working on learning how to set one up. I'm not waiting on a plugin since all the bones are there and working properly. It just seems to me like if you're going to work in the application it's better to learn how to do things there.
I've done a few tests, but this is the first time I've actually committed to the project because I want to do some serious animating.

Meanwhile I'm still sitting here trying to figure out how to get certain morphs to show up in things I've exported xD
I know you can load the static geometry as a morph reference for Pose Morph, but the problem is you need to have that in the scene at all times otherwise the reference breaks. I tried "Relative" instead of "Absolute" and it still breaks the morph if the geometry is removed.
I guess you could just stick it in a Layer then hide it from the manager though...
