DP Lilith 6 Carrara Shaders.
The shader package is all done, has pass quality testing and reviews and it is ready to be release.
We are just waiting for DAZ 3D to release it. ;-)
According to DAZ 3D the shaders should be out this Friday 08-22-2014
That's great news!
That's great news!
You being wooed over to C8.5 EP or do the shaders work in C7 on an obj import.
I know many do infact do this for still renders
Geografts of some parts being one of the things still giving us grief in Carrara with textures.
Too many new characters coming too thick and fast, vying for too little money, so basically I'm out at this point. (heck even a new Stonemason came out and I just looked at it and said "meh, same old same old!")
Maybe if C9 comes out and supports HD, I'll start to look at G2 again, but until then I'll stick with what I've got and the occasional rummage through the 70% off bin. She of the purse strings has spoken!
Just a few more hours and DP Lilith 6 Carrara Shaders will be out.
Wonderful work Ringo, they look super terrific :)
Thank You Headwax.

How to use the Lilith 6 Shaders.
1) From the Instances Tab select "Actor".
2) From the Tabs at the top select the Shading Tab to show the Shading Domains List.
3) Applying the Eyes shaders drag and drop the selected shader such as "Irises Blue" to both the Irises and the Sclera shader domains.
4) Applying the Lips shaders drag and drop the selected shader such as "BlackLips" to the Lips shader domain.
5) Applying the Nails shaders drag and drop the selected shader such as "Black Nails" to the fingenails shader domain.
6) Applying the ToeNails shaders drag and drop the selected shader such as "Black ToeNails" to the Toenails shader domain.
7) Applying the Make-up shaders drag and drop the selected shader such as "Lilith6 M01" to the multi-color "Multiple Shading Domains" sphere.

Using DP Lilith 6 Carrara Shaders and other DP shaders for the clothing. I added translucency to the cloth shader.
This is Lilith 6 render just with the Carrara raytracer, 2 distant lights and the DP Lilith 6 Carrara shaders.
This one adds the Indirect Lighting and a close up of her lips.
The shaders look great Ringo - I think I might be picking them up soon ;-)
I was wonder how you got the custom icons on your shaders. I can't figure it out. Sure would make it easier to visually figure out which shaders I want.
Thanks Dustrider,
The custom icons have to be manually edited in a text editor to add the image. Not the most enjoyable part of making the shaders. ;) I wish Carrara would do this automatically. I will dig out the information and post it here or send it to you.

How to add custom thumb nails to say a shader . Note this also works for dynamic Hair etc.
"1. Create your thumbnail image (the aspect ratio should be square for best results, pixel size doesn't really matter).
2. Open a new Carrara Scene
3. Load your thumbnail as a backdrop into Carrara
4. Save the scene as a .car file. Make sure you choose to save the scene preview and to keep the file uncompressed.
5. Use an archive program like 7 zip to decompress the shader.
6. Open the uncompressed shader and the .car file you just saved in a text editor
7. In the .car file locate the the line with TVPr { and copy everything below that line until the closing Brace
8. Locate TVPr in the shader file and replace everything below it until the closing brace with the contents you copied from the .car file
9. Save and close the file.
10. Rename the uncompressed .cbr file so that it has a .cbr extension.
The .cbr file will now have a thumbnail."
Now I wish Carrara would do this automatically cause think about having to do this for 20 shaders and imagine how long it takes to create the custom icons.
You can use the P3dO Explorer program to edit custom icons into your Carrara object and shader files, that's how I do it.
I need to look into it cause it is a very time consuming process of having to save car files with previews etc. ;-)
This is Sexy Lilith 6.
To celebrate the end of summer I have place my store on sale at 40% OFF. Excludes new releases.
