Thank you very, very much!
A very useful addition to Daz Studio, thank you for sharing. :)
Master, what can you do a daz import fluid animation obj sequence script,We know that the fluid animation generated sequence of obj grid surface and structure change constantly, DAZ Studio can not import this kind of obj sequence,Thank you!
zhuxian :
MDD import script does not handle sequential OBJ, this script would not stand in your work.
( Morph loader pro is your convinient rather than MDD importer. )
And if you’re handling with a sequencial obj with constant number of vertices, how about Mr.vintorix’s “animMorph” script at sharecg.com ?
thanks.
(In fact, Fluid is the difficult category representation in the MDD.
MDD ( in other word, “morph based animation”) since vertex cache after all, it does not have to assume that the number of vertices varies in the sequence.
I know that the fluid animation has been generated based on the particle in some integrated 3D software.
For example, this is a way after the collision simulation of the particle, and generate the shape of the fluid in each frame by complementing particle as metaball.
In this case, the number of vertices of fluid will change from frame to frame, it does not fit in morph based animation. )
Hi nmizu :-)
Congratulations and thank you for this useful script.
:-)
Just found this and OMG it works the first try thanks to your very detailed instruction and thoughtful example files! I got an animating kimono sleeves dress hahahaha! Thank you arigato.
EDIT: oh and it's not as slow as you describe. My i7 equivalent didn't even spike much and 1 or 2 minutes it's done!
Late to the party but thanks for sharing.
Edit: I just wanted to confirm I was able to get this to work just fine. Thanks again.
Does anyone know where this script can be found? The site hosting the file has been deleted.

In some days, I'll upload a program for Windows that convert MDD files to PZ2.
Add Empty Channel for Characters and props.
Thank you for this great script. However, the link is broken for me as well. Can we get a new download link to this script?
Thank you!

I find the MDD importer only work in DAZ 4.6 instead of 4.12.
so how can I import a mdd file to DAZ4.12?
AnimMorph can work in DAZ4.12 neither.

will this work for any obj series?
I would use it for Blender animated obj exports and any FBX that can be exported that way
I guess I can find out
Site link doesnt work? https://amarijun.wordpress.com/2014/08/23/mdd-importer-for-daz-studio-4-6/
I'm not sure the plugin works in current versions either.
