clothing and custom characters

how can I make clothing fit custom characters. I have characters in which ive adjusted body parts and whatnot and I go to clothe them and I cant fit clothes to them. ive used the dials but they don't work.. any help would be super thanks peeps using Victoria 4.2 base

    One thing you can try in DS, assuming the clothes are fitted to Victoria 4, is right-clicking on the figure in the viewport and selecting "Transfer Active Morphs" from the menu that opens.
