Mirror object

Is there an easy way to mirror an object in Daz? Say I want to mirror an "L" instead of just simply duplicating the object, I want a backwards copy so I'd have an "L" and a "_l"

Simply rotating the object 180 unfortunately won't work as there is a front and a back to the objects I want to mirror.

If Daz can't do it, can Hex? If so, how?

You can try scaling it to -100 to reverse it. There is a possibility that there could be issues with the texture/surfaces but I would go ahead and give it a try before trying anything else.

That's an interesting idea. I'll definitely give that a try and report back

Scaling the X and Z worked beautifully! Thank you!
That was so easy, it just never occurred to me to scale backwards LOL.

Scaling X and Z to -100 is the same as a Y rotation of 180 - two reflections add up to a rotation.

    I should have said X or Z
Depending on which direction I want to mirror :)

Basically what I'm doing is taking a building prop that is only 2 sides of a building and I'm mirroring that object to create the other 2 sides and I'll throw a primitive plane on top for a flat roof :)

I can't simply duplicate and rotate as the walls are not flat all the way down.

HAHA me too. I'm not quite ready to start learning Hexagon yet. :)
