Bryce side by side config

My Bryce won't launch. I get an error about faield to start its side by side configuration is incorrect. How can I fix this.

    The main fox for this is to go to Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948854 and download the distributble that you will find on this page http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=26347

    THe reason you are getting the error is that Bryce is a 32bit application, and you are missing a .dll in the VisualC++ on your PC.

    You need the X86 version of the download.

    Thanks. I run 64 bit. Noticed Bryce was only 32.

    It will still run fine on your 64 bit system.

    I get the side by side config error also... I went to MS and downloaded the file at the address you gave.. vcredist_x64.exe. Installed it and rebooted... still the same error/problem (side by side) stopping it from loading up.. any other ideas ?

    You need to downloand the You X86 version of the download.
