More fighting fun -
Really nice effects work, Shawn.
Fire -
I rushed this one and as result, I don't like very much...
Until this last one :) Thank you!
In honor of her being on sale (I picked her up) -
I redid that awful render. Apologies for eye raping with it -

Hey Shawn, this stuff is looking awesome!
So when is this coming out? Or is it out already? I checked your site but it just said "coming soon".
I've been working on my own comic (which I'll start a thread on soon), so I'd definitely like to check yours out.
Thank you! I love feedback (who doesn't).
Hard to say - I'm focusing on getting the first six issues complete before releasing to insure I'm able to stick to schedule. I've been failing to keep the site updated (haven't posted since dec 2014 - lame).
Issue one is in need of lettering. Almost half way through number two. Each panel takes about 10-12 hours to complete and I only work on it a couple days a week. Was thinking of using Patreon.com to get fans to support me (kinda need fans though). It's my hobby version of my childhood aspiration to make a comic book.
More interesting development though - the last render I posted inspired a "new scene" for issue one. I love it. Brings more character development to main character in just a few panels.
What's your book about? Genre?
The calm before the deployment.
DEATH RISES
That's a good idea to work ahead like that. I've been burned by laziness in the past when it comes to getting updates out on time.
I like the Patreon idea. I've contributed to a couple of Youtube series via that site. I'm a loooong way from being able to realistically do something like that though.
My own comic is an espionage/adventure/action sort of deal that I've had kicking around in my head for a long time. I'm finally ready to make this thing happen.
On another note, I also checked out that Brian Michael Bendis book on comic writing. Some very helpful information in there. Did you get a lot out of it?
Love his book.
I have a render I've been trying to complete for two days now. DS either crashes 15 min into the render or, if I turn off 3 characters and lose the fog, it'll render but an hour in the whole, computer freezes requiring a reboot. Not sure why it's happening, this is a first for me. It's frustrating to the point of wanting to abandon it but I want to finish it as a f**k you to the problem.
3 lights - uberEnvironment set to 60%, distant light at 100%, and distant light at 20%.
3 G1 as smay's zombies, 5 Luthbel zombies, Fiend and Michael 6 wearing various bits and pieces. That's only ten characters.
Prison Cell Block K
I turned off atmosphere camera (huge bummer) since my iMac can't handle it in this set up apparently.
Aggravated.
Hopefully, I'll get her done and post today.
I've had that happen to me on more than one occasion. It typically ends up being one of the other pieces of content being corrupted. What I end up having to do is eliminate them each in turn test rendering, replacing, and removing another, until I find the bad piece and replacing it. And yes, it is as time consuming as it sounds.
I'll admit, I just wanna say (bleep) it and forget this render...
So I made this instead lol... Just one of those days...
I admit, the Spidey render and this one just don't cut it.
Watched 'Jupiter Ascending' and got inspired to play with stuff -
I created a little "opener" -
