the bump maps labeled "X" are in fact opacity maps

all maps are 1Kx1K

Blender, daz studio, mcjPlanarUV, paintshop, imagemagick and XNormal were used to create them

    Very nice set of texture maps. I'm curious, which ones would be best for cloth, such as wool?

    Very nice set of texture maps. I'm curious, which ones would be best for cloth, such as wool?

    the ones with the prefix "mcjTissu" are what i was calling "weaved" but the seem more like osier/wicker

    ( i very very quicklyUV mapped the shirt using mcjCylinderUV so the shoulder area looks .... not very good ))

    Fig 1 - mcjTissu as a displacement - strength 100% min 0.03 max 0.3
    Fig 2 - mcjTissuNormal - as a notmal map
    Fig 3 - mcjTissu as a bump map - strength 100% min 0.03 max 0.3
    fig 4 - idem, shirt was re-UVed and inflated using a full-white displacement map with a max of 0.5 (1/4" )

    jpeg compression seems to "fight" a lot with the fine bumpmaps
