IK question - Solved
So I found out that the Daz to Maya Bridge has the ability to animate in Maya and then send it back into Daz to render, or in my case I can finish my animation up by using FaceMotion so I can add my facial mocap. I got the free trial of Maya yesterday to try this out, and I can get the animation back into Daz and it's great, but watching the Daz video about sending it to Maya and bringing it back, the guy says you can switch to IK and everything but doesn't say how, the video is in fast speed and this part is glazed over. On his rig, he has the IK box on the hands to move the arms with IK, but when I do his steps, that box doesn't show up and I can't for the life of me figure out how get it and I've been googling all morning to no avail. Does anybody know how I can get the IK for the hands to turn on? Any help and info would be incredibly appreciated. Thank you!
Edit. So in case anyone else decides to try Maya who's never opened the program before and runs into this same issue, you just have to select the bubble on the figure outline to the hands on the right hand side of the screen and move the slider underneath. The sliders are grayed out otherwise and I stumbled upon hitting the bubble wondering if it was like the power pose tool and noticed the grayed slider became active.
