Animate2 Question, stopping it from animating specific body part

I'm new to Animate2. I tried to go to the online documentation but got a 404 error. I have Victoria 2 loaded (yes I have all the way through Genesis 2 with clothing) I select the animation I want, works great, except the arms are in the large 18 century dress (the reason I'm using V2.) I double click on Victoria 2 in the animate bar and bring up the properties window and deselect arms shoulders and hands. Now it's not animating them, but I can't set them either. As soon as 1 frame changes, the animation changes. No documentation, what do I do?
