5% off not valid for discounted products?

Hey there everyone!

So we have a 48 hrs sale event going on right now and I was like great! Now with the 30% off discount + 5% off coupon code on Daz originals, I could buy 2 female characters for just 46 $.

So I added Lilith to my cart and tried to apply the 5-gratis discount code but it didn´t work.

It says :

Get $5 OFF* your next purchase of DAZ Originals, including New Releases. No minimum purchase required. Just add any DAZ Original Product to your cart and use coupon code: 5-gratis

Does that not apply to products that are currently discounted for the next 48 hours?

    Are you sure you are entering the code correctly? Also, try reversing the 5 and the GRATIS - I believe that, at least as first sent, the store message and the email disagreed on that.

    Oh It seems like the 5% off discount code is being applied automatically to Daz Original products. For example I added a character that costs 27.96 after 30% discount and in my shopping cart it says 23.97.

    So 2x characters with 30% off + 5% off = Grand total $47.95

    That fits I guess : )

    UPDATE: Actually I just found out that it probably doesnt fit : D It should have been 45.92 with the 5% discount on both characters but that doesn´t matter. I probably got some kind of discount since I bought two at once anyways.

    But I just tried adding an item to cart that is around 10 dollars after the 30% discount and it did not discount automatically down to around 5 dollars since there is supposed to be 5% off on Daz Originals. I tried entering the coupon both ways but none worked. The item is Daz Original product.

    Anybody else having issues with this coupon?

    Why would it discount to 5$? 5% off 10$ would make 9.5$, not 5...

    IT is a one off $5 discount, not a percentage on that particular coupon.

    Oh hey there guys. Yep I wrote it wrong up there. It is supposed to be 5 dollars off not 5% : )

    Going back to dave.evert's original post, I could not get the 5-GRATIS coupon to work either. I kept getting a "Coupon code "5-GRATIS" is not valid." error.

    I tried it on several DAZ originals (CD player, it did not work on it, so I tried it on short swords, and it didn't work there either).

    Is the 5-GRATIS coupon disabled during the current sale, or is this something limited to Platinum club members? If so the blue banner after I logged in didn't say anything about it being limited to platinum club.

    Can anyone who got this coupon in a site message and can't get it to work please contact Customer service. THere does seem to be a problem here.

    Did you try GRATIS-5 instead? As I said, there was some confusion over the code.

    Error message "Coupon code "GRATIS-5" is not valid."
