I would like to use a file which is only compatible in DAZ. Is there a workaround where I can get this to work in Poser?

Maybe. If you have Poser 9/Poser Pro 2012 (with their respective SR3) or later it may, if the file is in DSON format, be possibly to bring it in using the free DSON Importer plug-in and Dimension3D's script for selecting a file which doesn't have a Poser companion file. However, not every item will load successfully.

Hi, I have Poser Pro 2014, but the file doesn't come with a DSON installer. I had wondered if it would be possible to create something in DAZ and then export it to Poser. I'll see if I can contact the person who created the file, maybe they can solve this, on way or another.

Thanks for your help, all the same. :)

What format is the item in? DSON is the native DAZ Studio format - .duf files.

    This is what you need....

    http://www.daz3d.com/dson-importer-for-poser

Install the importer to your Poser Program directory, and the included Genesis/Genesis 2 starter Essentials to a Poser runtime folder (not the one in the Poser Program Directory!)

For products without Poser Companion Files, use the free D3D DSON Loader Python script...
