Hello again everyone!

I'm so super excited about all of the possibilites I'm seeing with Daz! The program is simply incredible!

I am trying to figure out how to lip sync, but when I go to the tabs section as indicated in the tutorials there is no lip sync tab.
Have they done away with lip sync in favor of a pay plug in? Or have i just not downloaded the right thing?

Thank you so much for all of your kind replies to a noob!

Danny Bright

LipSync is only available in the 32 bit version of DAZ Studio, I'm sorry.

It is possible to have both the 32 bit and 64 bit version installed at the same time, and just use the 32 bit version when you want to use LipSync.

There is this paid for plugin for DS (either version) : http://www.daz3d.com/mimic-live

My problem is that Daz 3D 32-bit crashes often, though I can still get a lot of work done on it when it comes to lip syncing. So does Mimic Live! let me lip sync with a old audio file? If not, will Mimic Lite do?

Use LipSync in the 32 bit version, then save and open in the 64 bit version to render etc.

Yes, Richard Haseltine, that is my current work flow. Open scene in 32-bit, try to lip sync, it crashes. Reload 32-bit, open scene again, lip sync successfully, save. Open in 64-bit, render successfully. "Rinse and Repeat". I see that the Mimic software can be used in our 64-bit Daz 3D, I was wondering if Mimic Live! uses an existing audio file because it works in my more stable 64-bit. If it does, it will help as I won't have to keep reloading Daz 3D 32-bit. If it doesn't use an existing audio file and only uses live voices, does the Mimic Lite fulfill my need? Thanks for the quick response by the way.
