Lip Syncing on a Mac?

Does anyone know of any software for a mac that allows you to lip sync DAZ Studio on a mac like Mimic does for PC?
Comments
Older operating systems can still run Mimic on a Mac, or a PC emulator (eg. VM Fusion, Parallels) works with the PC version on newer systems, but I like using the built-in lip sync in the 32-bit version of DAZ Studio, which still works on a new Mac and the latest operating systems. I tend to do my lip sync set-ups, save the poses, then render in the 64-bit version.

Thanks for the suggestions wsterdan. I wonder why the 64 bit version doesn't have lip sync???
I would guess that it's a lower-priority need and they have limited programming resource; there's no real problem having both 32-bit and 64-bit installed simultaneously, but it is an annoyance, one I would pay to see rectified.

Hi Walt, I know this is an old thread I am revisiting, but if you are still around, could you clarify the workflow for saving the lip sync set ups and saving the poses. I have given up on other solutions, so I want to try the 32-bit solution. Do you mean you would save the scene with the animation created int he 32 bit version, then reopen and render in the 64 bit version?

That will work. I used to save just the poses from Mimc and re-apply them, but I haven't tested that with recent versions of DAZ Studio and doubt it would that cleanly.
Saving the scene does work, though.

Okay, I installed 32 bit Studio, saw a YouTube video that said the lip sync tab should be in the Window>Pane(tabs) drop down, but it doesn't show up in mine. I have a Genesis figure loaded and selected just to see if that makes a difference, but it didn't make any difference. As I am on a mac, i don't have Mimic installed, but I thought this would not be necessary to get the lip sync in 32 bit Studio.
Anyone have any idea whether a 32 bit Studio on an iMac should have the lip sync tab and if so...where is it hiding???
...thanks.
[edit: found it where it should be...there was a problem due to the fact that I appear to have had two instances of Studio going, when I closed one, I saw the tab on the other. Not sure why, maybe one was the 64 bit version]
Are there any updates on lip sync for mac? It's been years. I'm now on catalina MacOS. DAZ studio works beautifully. very fast on this OS. but no lip sync for mac, which makes me not feel like learning a new software when i'm a long term poser user.
