So, I'm having this issue where when I add the Messy Pixie Cut Hair to my Teen Raven 8 model, any time I mess with any slider whatsoever, Daz Studio completely freezes up and I get the "Not Responding" message for about 3 minutes. I've checked this with all my other models and the result is the same, the hair makes Daz freeze up. Nothing else is causing the problem, it's just the hair. Is there any way to fix this?

Perhaps a Smoothing Modifier, wuich you should be able to disable temporarily via the Parameters pane. If that does help, have a look at the number of iterationss it is set to use (also in the Parameters pane)
One thing that helps is to hide the hair when working on the rest of the scene since hair can drag down performance and then unhide it once you get the scene that way you want it.
