THey are not clickable banners, but at least they are cheering the forum up some, but the one in the gallery is too big Kendall.

    Size should be 480 x 80 and under 60kb

Now that they have the important thing fixed, maybe they can take care of some of the minor annoyances, like making a smooth, error free, checkout process! :-P

That's beautiful! That kind of looks like a fellow Brycer's avatar in there...you know who I mean? It's hard to see her, but it looks a little like the self portrait girl of Simone over at Renderosity.

This week's freebie from DAZ also fits nicely with my theme.

    NOTICE!!!

For this month only; any of the backdrops (Multi-Plane Cyclorama, InfCove etc.) that HoboBo provides textures for will not be counted as a paid for item.

Putting together my entry would be easier if I hadn't left half of the files on my computer at the office... :P But, hey, at least I brought home all of the files for the character who's going into that render. So...

We all know this is what we're really doing this summer, right? :-)

Not enough freebies and too many paid items means this is NAE.

Edit: Hey! Look what's written immediately below the image! (I rendered 800x800 because I though that wasn't happening any more...)

It looks like I have the first entry.
For my summer vacation I went to ...
    .
    Bond Movies
    .
In the early 70s, the local 3rd rate movie house ran 1/2 price double features in the afternoons during the summer.
Each set ran for 3 days and then changed. They ran Bond movies, Disney, Monster & other spy movies.
Most of them I had already seen on TV.
But as any movie fan will tell you, a 20" screen with cheap speakers does not compare to a full sized screen with multi-channel audio.
We spent a lot of time on hot summer days watching classic movies in an A/C cooled theater.
    .
    Panel 1:
    Bond:
    Mike 3 DAZ model pack
Sci Fi Officer - skin tex & hair #
    Paratrooper pants - 8 down
    shirt
    cap 19 down
    Headphones 16 down
    Little Nellie #
    Flame
    Bad guys:
    Mike 3 (see above)
    Vietcong 10 down
Long sleeve shirt - 2 down
School uni for m3 pants & shoes - box on left 9 down
Headphones - Same page as Vietcong (see above) 9 down
    assault rifle #
    Bell Helicopter #
    Background photo:
Hawaii 03 scene # - photo only - HoboBo required item
free sky dome & lights from tutorial. #
    .
    Panel 2:
    Girl:
    Aiko 3 #
    Myra #
    Koz Messy hair 6 down
    MMcasualD dress - 3 down - retextured
    Guy:
Hiro 3 (See Mike 3 above)
    EXP Hair
    Small Sins pants #
    .
    Paid items:
    T-shirt # - retextured
    .
    Scene:
Cinema seats 2nd page 20 down
    Harry
    Christina # - link broke
    .
Poses by me, with a lot of dial tweaking.
    # free site registration required.
    .
    Software used:
    Paint Shop Pro 7
    Rendered in DAZ Studio 2.3
Sections assembled in PSP 7 & added text. (cut & paste only)
    .
    Go Here for big.

It's a really cool render. You have enough freebies. However; the link to the required HoboBo freebie takes me to the machine gun. Until that is fixed, I can't qualify this entry.

Cool! We had a theater like that in the 60s, they showed a lot of old movies. We saw two or three monster movies (Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, and such), or sometimes old space movies like Flash Gordon or others, sometimes old Batman serials. This place was big, it had a balcony level, and a huge crystal chandelier.

Yeah, he posted a render in Skipper's Cromer pier thread.

I almost didn't recognise him, he has a different avatar to what I am used to.

Krissy, he was in and about last month. He used all Adam's stuff to make his entry and he chucked in a very funny render about everyone getting along. I am sure he is cooking up something special for this month as well. You know Dorsey, he will have something up his sleeve. So will LG. Da Real Man has got to have some seriously funny vacation stories you know.

I'm hoping to churn out at least one of the "ol' boy" sometime this month as soon as I'm awake long enough. I got bounced to 2nd shift (sort of a 2nd shift) which gets me out at 2:14 am. Damn this real-life-going-to-work-every-day stuff! I want to win the lottery so I can stay inside and render all day...
