Skin Tones Remain the same in Texture Shaded view

Hello all I am a complete Newb when it comes to DS. 

My issue is, when I'm working on skin tones in Texture Shaded view they don't change when I make adjustments, the only way I see my changes is when I switch to NVIDIA Iray.

For Instance, If I load a G8M and go to surfaces to change his skin tone he remains the same tone in Texture Shaded view but soon as I switch to Iray, Boom, he is the correct color so to make adjustments I have to switch back and forth between views, can anyone help me with this?

It would be greatly appreciated!!

    Are you trying to use any pack in particular or are you using what comes with the base figure? Does this do it with everything you try to change textures on, such as props as well?

    Exactly which properties are you using? texture shaded is a pretty bare-bones presentation, a lot of channels in the Iray Uber Base or PBR Skin shaders are not shown.

    Has anyone figured this out yet? Even when I export the character in C4D, it shows up like the Texture Shaded mode.
