Welcome to this years "WINTER WONDERLAND" freebie challenge. Each year we do this theme in December. Your usual host "Jeeperz" will not be able to make it this year, so I will be your host. Anyone wanting to help judge would be great. Just PM me.
The rules for this year are as usually posted at the beginning of the freepository forum. Please do not ask us to change any of them as it has taken years to establish them. You may ask me in a private PM if you like and I will make a decission then.
The prizes will be as follows...so far. We are always open to any donations given by you. We appreciate that.
1st place - Daz will give a $15.00 store credit. I will be giving my Santa's Workshop model and my Santa's store display model.
2nd place - Daz will give a $12.00 store credit. I will be giving my Santa's workshop model and my Santa's store display model.
3rd place - Daz will give an $8.00 store credit. I will be giving my Santa's Workshop model.
Honorable Mentions...(2)...I will be giving my Santa's store display.
Let me remind you all...this is Christmas time. A time of giving. So anyone who feels the Christmas spirit and wants to give anything back to the community, this would be a good time to do that.

Very nice! I have to say, though, that's not a beach ball...I think it would be too heavy for someone her age and size to lift that high. Snow is heavy! It would have been nice to see two kids lifting it together. Wonderful scene, though!

I can't say I've built a lot of them myself, but I do remember doing it with other kids. Even now that much snow might be too much for me to lift. It's still a great image!

damn cho that was the first thing I saw when I went to page two, I jumped back in my chair ya cow lmao certainly got me!!
I fixed the snowman by scaling down the size and making some adjustments to Genesis Child's pose to accommodate the scaling down. No freebies where added or removed.
Thanks go to Dana for pointing out the scale issue with the snowman. :-)

This is a nice render entry Kismet. I only see one major problem with it. The trees all around are evergreens covered with snow, but all the shadows of the trees show bare limbs. That can't be dear. It's still a nice render though if you don't see that. I saw it immediately. If you wanna change it, I will accept it changed. If not, I will accept it as it is. Your choice sweetie.

:-)I think two of the tees, on the left, (one of which is off screen, and the other, we only see the trunk of, are deciduous trees. It's not all that uncommon for a forest to have mixed species of trees.
Well, I see one deciduous tree trunk at the left and it's shadow, and the shadows are coming from the left and moving away and to the right, so it could be another one that is throwing the shadow on the girl and snowman.

DanaYep. That's how I see it too.
There are 2 deciduous trees. One the trunk is showing on the left side of the image. I used them for the interesting shadows they cast.
They are the maple tree with the opacity on the leaves turned off.

I am attaching a different camera shot to show the trees I used.
Edited to add: I understand what it is you are referring to music. In order for a freebie to count it has to be visible in the render. An item's shadow, therefore, could not count. ( The penny finally dropped on my way to work this morning. :shut: )
That thought occurred to me while setting up the scene which is why I added a tree but only the trunk is visible. Thank you Dana and Tramp Graphics for pointing that out.
However, I will move the Maple Tree to the No Count section.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
