install manager won't launch [SOLVED]

Funny, I"m a "New Member" since 2008. I just haven't Dazzed in a while.

Anyway, I got a new computer using WIndows 8.1. Downloaded Daz 4.7 with Install Manager which promptly reported a bad install of Studio (even though it seems to be running fine now).

Used install manager to load in a bunch of content then shut it down for the afternoon. Now I can't launch it again. Best case scenario: a gray box (about the right size) flickers on my screen for a moment, then goes away.

I've tried uninstall and reinstall several times. I've re-downloaded fresh and reinstalled.

Oddly, Task Manager shows it as loaded and running. I just can't see it or interact with it.

Any ideas what I need to do differently?

Never mind.

Don't know if this is what fixed it but I got rid of Nortons and now I'm good again.
