Daz to Unity to avatars for vr programs, is it possible?
Just wondering if someone more fluent in Daz and Unity can bestow their wisdom upon me.
I do know that Daz isn't made for vr programs as you'll want low poly avatars and Daz is high poly for renders
Buuut if you look at these websites
https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/creating-your-first-avatar or https://vrm.dev/en/how_to_make_vrm/convert_from_humanoid_model/
They do explain the process but not everything translates over well (as far as my capabilities go), the eyes didn't convert, the jaw bone doesn't either and I think the arm joints were inverted.
Basically, I converted over a very creepy zombie version of my character.
I dunno if someone out there was successful in turning a .fbx into something usable for vr programs?
