That is an excellent HDRI - I can't wait to try it out myself! Thanks for the link, Richard. Great Barrier Reef! Wow, that must have been amazing! If I weren't so shark phobic (first saw Jaws when I was probably a little to young!), that would truly be a once in a lifetime experience... it's just that I don't want it to be the once and end the lifetime experience!
Didn't see a single shark on either visit (1996 & 2011). Did see Green Turtles & dozens of species of fish (so many I really couldn't really identify the differences between a lot of species). Went on a day trip to the outer reef https://quicksilver-cruises.com/reef-tour/wavepiercer/ and it was utterly breathtaking. They do 'Semi Submersible' tours over the reef too. These are from boats with glass sided keels the passengers sit in, so anyone who is concerned about going in the water can still see everything while keeping dry. We went in 'Winter' to avoid the Box Jellyfish, which are more of a problem. The temps were fine for snorking even in August. When the locals were shivering, us mad Brits were suffering from too much heat.

Not real good at this stuff so I just concentrated on only one image this time around instead of the three like last time. So here is my June Vacation entry.
THE WINNER!
Jenn, when she was quite a young girl, started playing Pokemon, moving rapidly to Yu-Gi-Oh, and then imgrating to Magic: The Gathering, all of which, she exceled at. In college she found and became a member of a Dungeons and Dragons gaming group, becoming a adventuring party leader, and a Dugeon Master for others. When she wasn't doing cards or group gaming she played a multitude of video games, usually adventure or first person shooters. Her only other hobby was fitness, which she worked at religously. Other than studying, and achieving very good grades, that was her life. She graduated very early from highschool, college, and graduate school. After college she worked, doing overtime when she could, and saving every single penny possible. When she had enough, she took her accumulated vacation days, did her hair, donned her clothes(?), grabbed her blades, and got to finally realize her greatest dream. She played her games for real. She went on a four month vacation to Fantasy Camp, and in the end, came out, THE WINNER!

Used #8 for the lower half of Binah's swimsuit. Hid the fur with changing opacity to 0% and then using the shader set for mother's day on it to change the texture. :)
Not only did she win her D&D fantasy vacation, she turned herself into a 35 mm figure!

I tweaked the materials, the pose and the lights. Set up and rendered within Daz Studio Iray. Postwork done in Pixelmator. I’ve attached the two before post renders (the ones that say Render) and the finished image file.
Wow there is a lot going on in that render! The lady on inflatable is going to get a good splash from that wave not to mention everyone else on the beach! The guy running has the right idea... LOL!
I sense a sandy trend here! LOL! Nice and peaceful... my kind of vacation!
Those are a lot of shells! Very cool... I have to play with instancing a little more myself.
Anyway... I had high hopes of finishing a render for this month but alas, real life is taking all my time... may be next month?

This is my third (and last) render for this month, because what's a dream vacation without at least one day at the beach? :)

The tale:
Before Tiana lost her right leg on a secret mission in Iraq, her dream (vacation) was to surf in Maui, Hawaii. She was one of the best female surfers, but after the loss of her leg it was no longer possible to surf independently. Now that she's on vacation in Maui after years of rehab, she would love to try to get back on the water on a surfboard...
Walther has been suffering from PTSD since he returned from Iraq, he has the feeling that he will never be able to feel affection and love again because of the things he has seen there and that leads him to severe depressions. Until today, when he saw Tiana and immediately noticed that she also wears dog tags, he felt an enormous connection and warmth for her inside and after years a smile appeared on his face again...
