dform issues

hello all!

has daz 4.7 changed the functionality for saving dforms? what is it "saved as" ? i thought it was "support asset" what is the method to save a morph to use over again for the dformed geometry in a node? also, when i spawn the morph the "unique name" window comes up again after i name it in the first window, the dform appears in the parameter window though as"dform". only when i change the name in the parameter setting window does the morph name appear on the slider. also, i haven't been getting the option window to save the dformer after i spawn the morph. when i delete the dform from the scene the morph deletes also. i've looked at youtube videos but they are daz 3 versions i believe and the dialog in the panes and menus are different. kind of frustrating. i hate bugging you pros. thanks. i'm good with the mechanics of the actual operation but saving it i get lost.

File>Save as>DForm preset. You need a support asset only when you have created a morph from the DForm. The DForm slider isn't the morph, it's a slider that can be used to control the strength of applied DForms. I get only one name prompt when spawning a morph - please post screenshots of what is happening?

    thanks richard!
here's something interesting... i am now using the dform to correct a pipe on a motorcycle. i opened dform and and manipulated the field on the polys i needed to morph and to my surprise the morph slider is in my parameter pane and i didn't spawn the morph yet!? i did not reopen the dform pane to check the boxes and click "spawn morph"!!
maybe i should reinstall daz 4.7?

If there is a DForm applied you should have a DForm slider - it controls the strength of the DForm, it isn't a morph.

    ok,
i did that and found a morph .duf that i made for a cranial shape. but it doesn't show up in the parameter pane. oh, i know the problem... dah. i had to reinstall 4.5 to in order to use files from daz3. 4.7 is saving my saves to the "my DAZ 3D Library 4.5/Presets... how do i change the path to 4.7 folder? i have since removed the 4.5 but that folder in still there (there's nothing much in there, 311mb). maybe this is the issue? thanks richard

question, is there a head morphing package out there that is like the "M4 Ultimate head morphs" (which has the pmd inject) compatible with daz 4.7 since it doesn't use the pmd inject anymore or will it?
