Walking Tutorial

I am looking for walking tutorials... i cant get the feet plated on the floor when i try to do a walking motion.
I have also tried the aniblocks but i dont really like the presets...

    Have you tried iClone? It has a good walk designer called "Motion puppet". There is an option for "foot contact" with the floor. To make sure the feet don't slide, you can adjust the length of the animation. You can also have the characters walk on a path that you design yourself..

    What software are you using. I done some quick tutorials using Carrara studio showing creating a walk cycle.
